Oracle NetSuite Automates Pferdegold Processes
Success Stories
In February 2021, Pferdegold UG decided to introduce the ERP cloud solution Oracle NetSuite. Within a few weeks, Pferdegold, together with PDG, implemented the basic financial and accounting functionalities based on the NetSuite package SuiteSuccess Financial First “in time and budget”. In addition, several third-party applications were integrated.
These business processes were improved or newly established at Pferdegold UG through the NetSuite implementation:
- Financial management
- Bank account reconciliation (FastFour)
- Procurement process
- Shopify® integration via Celigo©
- Integration of logistics service providers via Celigo©
- Invoice dispatch via email
- Article management
NetSuite implementation with a very short project duration
This short project duration was possible due to the agile implementation approach “minimum product functionality” favored by PDG, with a focus on the absolutely necessary functions. The goal of this method is to put the investment into operation as quickly as possible by focusing on the absolutely necessary functionalities. In a subsequent “optimization phase”, the optimization points should then be planned and addressed according to urgency. In addition, there was excellent cooperation with the Pferdegold team.

Today, Pferdegold UG can handle not only the classic financial and accounting tasks, but also article management, the “procure to pay process” and the complete invoice dispatch via NetSuite. By introducing an automatic bank account reconciliation (FastFour), the connection of logistics service providers and the Shopify® integration via Celigo©, Pferdegold UG was able to replace numerous manual processes with standardized, automated processes.
For Pferdegold, the flexibility and scalability of Oracle NetSuite were particularly decisive. NetSuite offers companies the opportunity to adapt to the markets and their own growth at any time. In addition, there is the simple and intuitive usability of the cloud solution.
